Biography

Catherine was born about 1815. She was the daughter of Robert Arbuthnot and Nicola Arbuthnot.

Christening Date: 2 April 1815
Christening Place: Peterhead, Aberdeen, Scotland[1]

She married Thomas McCombie on 3 January 1839 at Peterhead, Aberdeen, Scotland.[2]

They had one daughter.

Sadly her husband died in 1840.

Scotland Census Event Date 1861: Recorded in the household of her brother Thomas Arbuthnot, along with her 21 year old daughter Nicola, in Bath Street, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Aged 45.

She died in 1887 at the age of about 72.

Saint Nicholas Churchyard, Aberdeen, Aberdeen City, Scotland[3]
