Biography
Jane was born about 1813. She was the daughter of Robert Arbuthnot and Nicola Arbuthnot.
- Christening Date: 12 December 1813
- Christening Place: Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland[1]
She married at Old Machar on 13 January 1842 (as his third wife) William Allardyce of Aberdeen.[2]
They had four children.
Scotland Census Event Date 1851: Living with her husband, four children and four other individuals at 1 Crown Place, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Aged 37.
Her husband died in 1858.
Scotland Census Event Date 1861: Recorded at 12 Dee Street, Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland with her three daughters and 24 year old Mary Donald. Aged 47.
Occupation: LODGING HOUSE KEEPER
UK Census Event Date 1881: Living with her daughter Mary and two servants in Windsor Road, Camberwell, London,Surrey, England. Aged 66 and a widow.

Jane died in 1887 at the age of 73.[3]
