Biography

Mary "Polly" Arnold, born in 1796 in South Carolina, was the daughter of John Arnold and Annie Bryant. Her name has also been given as Mae.

She was married on 13 Oct 1810 in Logan County, Kentucky, to Jesse Page. They were the parents of eight children.^[1] One of the children was:

She lived in South Carolina, Logan County, Kentucky, Clark and Crawford Counties, Illinois.^[1] The 1850 census shows her living in Martinsville Precinct District No. 48, Clark County, Illinois. The family is listed as: Jesse Page, age 66, male, farmer, real property valued at $100, born in North Carolina; May Page, age 54, female, born in South Carolina; James J (?) Page, age 13, male, born in Illinois, attended school during past year (his initial could be H, or possibly B, so fancy it is hard to read. ^[2]

She died in 1876 in Clark County, Illinois.^[1]
