She married Richard Smith in 1790 in Wilkes County, Georgia. They moved to Greene County, Georgia, by 1796. Their children included Nancy, Nathan, James, Mary Polly, Alexander Hall, and possibly Thomas Richard.[1]
She passed away in 1842. She is believed to be buried in the Leslie-Winfield Family Cemetery in Liberty, Greene County, Georgia.[2]

In his will dated 2 July 1842, Richard mentioned the following slaves, which he bequeathed to his wife, Patience:[3]
