Nicholas was born on 6 Feb 1695 in Dover Neck, Strafford, New Hampshire. He was the son of Thomas Austin and Ann (Otis) Austin.
He married first Jane Fletcher on 27 May 1721 in Abington, Montgomery, Pennsylvania.
He married second Sarah Field on 7 Oct 1757.
He died in 1770.
