Biography

Willie was born in Texas on 25 August 1892.^[1][2] She was the daughter of Albert Austin and Victoria Gibbs.^[1] She married Wesley Turnage in Crockett County, Tennessee, on 25 August 1913.^[3] The couple had several children, including Victor, Mary, Louise, Lillian, and James.^[4] Willie died in Dallas, Texas on 16 September 1978 and is buried in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.^[2][5]
