Biography

Bethsheba, daughter of Samuel Axtell and Mary Loveridge, was born on 12 Apr 1812 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania.^[1]

Bethsheba married Peter H. Burnett. They were both deaf mutes. Their son, Abijah, was a well-known sheriff in Mercer County.^[1][2]

In the 1850 census Bathsheba (age 39) was in Sandy Creek Township, Mercer, Pennsylvania, United States.^[3]

In the 1860 census Bathsheba (age 50) was in New Vernon Township, Mercer, Pennsylvania, United States.^[4]

In the 1880 census B (age 69), Keeping House, was the wife of Peter Burnet in New Vernon Township, Mercer, Pennsylvania, United States.^[5]
