Biography

Joseph, son of Samuel Axtell and Mary Loveridge, was born on 4 Jul 1938 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania.[1][2]

In 1857, Joseph married Sarah Franklin.[1]

On 6 Jun 1866, Joseph married Mary Graham in Marshall County, Illinois.[1]

In the 1870 census J (age 32) was the head of household in Boomer Township, Pottawattamie, Iowa, United States.[3]

In the 1880 census Monroe (age 46), Carpenter, was the married head of household in Boomer Township, Pottawattamie, Iowa, United States.[4]

In the 1900 census James (age 62) was the married head of household in Boomer Township, Pottawattamie, Iowa, United States.[5]

In the 1910 census Joseph (age 71) was the married head of household in Boomer, Pottawattamie, Iowa, United States.[6]

Joseph passed away on 18 Apr 1919 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, Iowa[7], and was buried at Grange Cemetery, Honey Creek, Pottawattamie County, Iowa.[8]
