William Edgar Ayers was born 1 Aug 1849 in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. He is the son of Moses Ayers and Harriet Power (1828 - 1902). In 1850 William is enumerated on the federal census in the Yalobusha County, Mississippi home of his parents. [1] William married Susan J. Webster in 1871. [2] William and Susan were the parents of 7 children, all born in Texas. William died 30 August 1932, Clarendon, Donley County, Texas. [3] He was buried in Citizens Cemetery there. [4]
