Biography
John was born on the 27th of February 1654/5[1] at Osggodby Grange, Yorkshire. He was the second son of William Ayscough and Judith Burgoyne.

He was baptised on the 28th of February 1654/5 at Thirkleby Parish Church, Yorkshire. [1]
Marriage
Family
John was the father of three daughters:
- Mary Ayscough who was buried at Thirkleby Parish Church on the 1st of October 1678. [2]
- Judith (Ayscough) Hawksworth (bef.1679-bef.1724) who was baptised on the 2nd of March 1679/80 at St Crux, Yorkshire.[3] and went on to mary Sir Walter Hawksworth of Otley
- Margaret (Ayscough) Fawkes (bef.1681-) who was baptised again at St Crux, Yorkshire on the 7th of April 1681.[4] and went on to marry Francis Fawkes of Farnley.
Death
John passed away in 1681 and was buried on 5 April 1681 in Thirkleby, Yorkshire (North Riding), England.[5]
