Nathaniel Bacon was born on November 10, 1757 in Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts. He was a son of Nathaniel Bacon and Apphia Cole.[1]
He served as a Private in Capt. Alexander McLellan's Company, Colonel Jonathan Mitchel's regiment. Nathaniel enlisted on 7 Jul 1779 and was discharged 25 Sep 1779. His service consisted of 2 months and 18 days on expedition to Penobscot.[2]
On 13 Dec 1781 Nathaniel "Baron" made a marriage intention. On 13 May 1782 in Gorham, Cumberland Co, Maine, he married Betty DYER.[3]
He owned taxable land on April 27, 1799 in Gorham.[4]
He died on November 22, 1843 in Gorham, Cumberland, Maine.[5]
Burial in West Gorham, Cumberland, Maine, United States.
