Amelia Ann Bailey was born on 08 Jan 1864^[1] in Macdonald River, New South Wales, Australia as the fifth child of Thomas Bailey and Frances Eliza Fletcher. She had nine siblings, namely: Thomas, Daniel Benjamin, Susannah Frances, Emily, Frances Eliza, William Aaron, Albert John, Maud Mary, and Letitia. She died on 24 Oct 1932^[2] in St Albans, New South Wales, Australia. When she was 18, she married George Rose, son of Thomas Rose and Matilda Morris, on 07 Nov 1882^[3] in St Albans, New South Wales, Australia.

BEYOND THE VEIL^[4]
The death occurred in a private hospital in Gosford on Monday last, of Mrs Amelia Ami Rose, aged 68, the, wife of Mr George B.ose, of Webb's Creek, Hawkesbury River, who was widely known and highly respected. The deceased was a relative of the well known Gavenlock family in this district and leaves a sorrowing husband and large grown-up family. The body was taken by train on Tuesday to Brooklyn, and then by launch to St. Albans, where it was interred in the Methodist portion of the cemetery there.
