In 1850, he was residing in Jackson County, Georgia, with his wife, Sarah Ann Adams, and three children - James, Eliza and Ralph..[1]
He was living with his wife Sarah Ann and 6 children (James, Eliza, Ralph, Cicero, Green, and Caldiwood) in Jackson County, Georgia in 1860. His brothers, Milton and Elisha, and his parents were on nearby homesteads. Occupation was listed as farmer.[2]
The family was still in Jefferson in Jackson County in 1870.[3] Children in the home included: Eliza, Ralph, Cicero, an unnamed 14 year old son (Green?), and Lucy. An Eliza Pettyjohn, 44, was also in the home. In 1880, Ralph, Eliza, Cicero, Green and Lucy were still living at home.[4]
Wyatt's last will and testament was probated 5 Apr 1897.[5]
He was mentioned in the death records of his children:
