Iva Lee was born in Lisbon, Louisiana on September 16, 1895 to James and Etta Baker.[1][2]
Iva Lee was married to Dr. Jamie Thompson Stinson. Dates of marriage and divorce are unknown.
Apparently, Iva Lee was married twice. According to the 1930 US Census she was 18 at her first marriage. Her daughters find a grave memorial also lists one of her married names as Phares. It is possible that her first daughter, Doris was from this first marriage.
In 1930, the census records show Iva Lee as divorced, living in Minden, Louisiana with 2 daughters Doris and Nellie.[3]
In 1940 the US Census shows her living as a lodger in Vivian, Louisiana.[4]
Iva Lee died at 96 years old and is buried in Forest Grove Cemetery in Arizona, Louisiana.[5]
