Sijmon married 1 Impjen Joostens. Impjen Joost was buried March 17 1730 by Arentje Pieters (probably Sijmen's sister). Children: Dieuwertje (Dec 2 1725),
Sijmon married 2 Maartje / Maritje Sijmons Koning on Feb 23 1732 in Enkhuizen. Children: Sijmon (Nov 9 1732).
Simon married 3 Fijtje (Sijtje) Ypes. Children: Jan (1740, married Geertje Sieuwerts van Leeuwen), Cornelisje (1742), Jan (1745), Jantje (1746, married Herke Jansz Bakker), Arendje (1748), Antje (1749), Arendje (1757). Lived in Bovenkarspel. In the exhaustive list of Bakkers by Tom Bais on the internet, I found Cornelisje being the daughter of Sijmon and Fijte. Fijtje must have come from another town.
Sijmon probably had brothers and/or cousins in Bovenkarspel having children about the same time, all with the last name Bakker: Pieter (married Aaltje Joost), Willem (married Geertje Joost), Jan Sijmonsz (married Aaltje Sieuwerts), Simon (married Geertje Wybets), Herke Jansz (married Jantje Zijmonsz), Aarjen Claasz (married Grietje Sijmons Dwars).[1]
On January 20 1732 Simon is mentioned in a court case dealing with the inheritance of his parents' house and bakery. Aal Simons had recently died (Pieter had already been dead for a while). Aarnoudje (Arendje), Gerritje and Simon Pieters Bakker are listed as the beneficiaries, with Simon listed as the inheritor of the bakery called "De Groene Oven" (the green oven).
On June 8 1721 a notary was signed over the inheritance of Pieter Jansz Bakker, recently deceased, for his children Aarnoudje, Simon and Gerritje. The two points of discussion were his bakery in Bovenkarspel called "De Groene Oven" and the land he owned in Osnabrugge in Niedersachsen, now in Germany.
There are years of silence 1725 and 1730 and between 1732 and 1740. One would expect to find baptism records for a few more children named after grandparents such as Pieter and Aaltje, a death record for Maartje and a marriage record for Fijtje (who has no baptism record either, for that matter). One gets the feeling that Sijmon moved somewhere else for some of those years, and then Sijmon returned to Bovenkarspel by 1737 when he was part of the reading of a will. But where? He doesn't appear in any of the nearby towns, nor does he appear in the records of Kuinre, Overijssel where his mother was from. I didn't find the Osnabrugge vital records online.
On January 28 1739 the guardianship ("voogd") of Pieter Pietersz Koning / Man, the son of deceased Pieter Simons Koning / Man and Aaf Pieter, was given to Simon Pieters Bakker of Bovenkarspel. Teunis Siimons Koning was also assigned guardianship, but he was dead at this time. Simon Bakker's wife Maartje / Maria Simons Konings was the aunt of Pieter and the brother of Pieter and Teunis, but she is simply listed as being a "verwant" (relative). She must have been dead by now too.
On his daughter Cornelisje's engagement record from Enkhuizen, Hendrik is listed as coming from Elburg and Cornelisje from Bovenkarspel. Hendrik's mother Machteltje Theunis and Cornelisje's father Simon Backer are also listed.
