Biography

Francis was the fourth of 11 children in the family of Herbert and Annetta Potter Baldwin.^[1] The family moved to Dilworth, Minnesota by the time Francis was 4.^[2]He grew up and attended school in Dilworth.^[3][4]

Francis married Lorraine Zerwas before 1947. ^[5] They moved to Washington some time before 1954, where their son Paul Douglas lived only a few days.^[6]They are the parents of four other sons and four daughters.^[7]

Francis died at age 74^[8] and is buried in Mother Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Vancouver, Washington.^[9]

Research Notes

Francis is identified as a Pearl Harbor Survivor on his gravestone.^[10]
