Biography
Daniel A. Baldwin, son of Daniel Baldwin and Clarris Steward; born in Columbia County, N.Y., in 1810; was a lawyer; married Abbie A. Holdbridge, daughter of Judge Abraham P. Holdbridge, of Spencertown, Columbia Co., N.Y.[1]
He was President of the West Wisconsin Railways; and Baldwin Wisconsin was named after him; he died about 1878[1]
