Biography

Caleb was born about 1728. He is the son of Caleb Ball and Sarah Wallace.

The Maerz work also lists the following children without birth or death dates:

History of the First Presbyterian Church shows: 1782. Nov.15. Caleb Ball, aet. 54, Consumption.

There is a record of the children of Caleb Ball being baptized on January 15, 1764. He also became a member that day. His daughter, Helen, was baptized in 1768.^[1]

Will of Caleb Ball:

"1782, Dec. 3, Ball, Caleb, of Hanover, Morris Co. Int. Adm'r--Ezekiel Ball. Fellowbondsman--Joseph Johnson; both of said place. Witness--Aaron Marsh. 1782, Dec. 6. Renunciation by Lois Ball, widow of Caleb Ball. Witness--Susannah Bickerton. Lib. M, p. 166." ^[2]
