Elizabeth Alice Ballard (age 87) died on 6 March 1906 and was buried in Farmingdale, Kennebec, Maine, United States.[1] She was the daughter of Augustus Ballard and his wife Thankful (Godfrey) Ballard.
Elizabeth attended the Gardiner Lyceum in 1839 in Gardiner, Maine,[2]
Elizabeth's estate passed probate.[3] She listed all her nieces and nephews alive at the time, noting that three had already received their share of her estate. All told:
Between that and the fact that her 1900 census entry indicated that she was single and had no children then or ever, strongly suggests that she was never married.
