According to the unsourced family tree, Frederick was the son of James Beer Barker. My mother-in-law wrote Isabel Marsden was his wife but according to sources Ruth was his wife. And this is correct as also on the death certificate of her daughter Maud, it states that Ruth Jane Ashley was her mother. Maybe Isabel Marsden is his mother.
Frederic (here his name is without “k”) resided on Princes Street in Kings Norton, Worcestershire in 1881. He was 26 years at that time. Which brings his year of birth to about 1855.
According to the registration of his residence and household he was born in Paddington, Middlesex.
At the time they lived in England Frederick was a cabinetmaker. At the time of his death he was a retired commercial traveler.

I tried to find more on James Beer Barker and Isabel Marsden on familysearch.org without any result 19.04.2020
My mother-in-law by Maureen Seager Millin Brockett, great granddaughter of Frederick James Barker wrote in her family tree that Isabel Marsden was Frederick’s wife. This seems not true according to the sources I found. Maybe Isabel Marsden was his mother.
