Arintha (Barnes) Hope was a Virginian from Accomack County

Arintha was born in 1860.^[1][2] She was the daughter of Alfred Barnes and Mary Johnson. She married Sylvester Henry Hope in 1877. She passed away in 1935.

Arinthia was born in 1859 at Accomack Co, VA.^[3]

She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.^[4]

She married Silvester H. Hope, son of George S. Hope and Laura J.T. 'Lovey' Wessells, on 26 December 1877 at Zion Church, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Sylvester H. Hope, a 22 year old farmer, the son of Geo. S. Hope and she was shown as Arintha C. Barnes, age 18, the daughter of Alfred & Mary Barnes..^[2]

As of 26 December 1877,her married name was Hope.

Arinthia died in 1935.^[3]

Her body was interred at Parksley Cem, Acc Co, VA.^[3]
