Biography

Jacob was born in 1752. He was married by 1783 when his daughter, Catherine Barnhart was born. He had 7 other children, including David Barnhart, Elizabeth Barnhart, Jacob Barnhart, Sarah Barnhart, Barbara Barnhart, Abraham Barnhart, and Lydia Barnhart. [1]He served in the army during the Revolutionary War for the Connecticut Militia. [2]He passed away in 1837. [3]
