It has been written that the maiden name for Elizabeth Ingalls was Barrett, also spelled Barrit.[citation needed]

A christening record is said to be the proof for this name, and while there is indeed a christening record for an Elizabeth Barrit, there is no proof that this is the same Elizabeth. The source of this information is said to be the England & Wales Christening Records, 1530-1906.[1] Parents are not listed in this christening record.

I am not having any luck finding documentation giving the LNAB or parentage or date or place of birth for Elizabeth, the wife of Robert Ingalls. Are there *any* reliable sources?

It appears she may have been the second wife of Robert Ingalls? Based on her birth date, the birth dates of Robert's children, and the given marriage date only the birth of Francis was after the given marriage date?
