The year of birth is incorrect on his memorial stone and should be 1781 or 1782 per family history. The memorial stone is located on Barron land near the Old Barron Cemetery in Amite County, Mississippi. It is believed that William Thomas Barron was buried in Holmesville, Pike County, Mississippi. The older tombstones in the Holmesville cemetery were destroyed some years ago, preventing confirmation of his burial place.
