William was a Sawyer.

William Barrow was a Freemason.

William Lee "Willie" Barrow was born on 20 November 1887 in Pine Barren, Escambia County, Florida.^[1][2] He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Barrow Jr (abt.1861-abt.1923) and Lillian G. (Lang) Barrow (1869-1918).^[3]

When he completed his World War I Draft Registration on 05 June 1917, he signed his name, Wm. Lee Barrow. He was twenty-nine years old, single, and living and working in Illinois. He stated his occupation as machine tender for the Cross Laundry Company. His physical description was 5'10" tall, 160 pounds, blue eyes and dark hair.^[1]

He was married to Bessie B. Jackson.^[2] Their marriage took place about 1923 based on the 1930 United States Census, which said that he had first married at age thirty-five, or seven years before.

William Lee "Willie" Barrow passed away on 17 July 1949 in Purvis, Lamar County, Mississippi.^[3][2] He was buried in Coal Town Cemetery, Purvis, Lamar County, Mississippi.^[8]

According to his obituary, he moved to "...Lamar county in the early 1920's as a sawyer for the Edward Hines Trustees saw mill at Lumberton. Twenty years ago he moved to Purvis and established a grocery business in which he had been engaged since that time. Mr. Barrow was active in church and community affairs and was chairman of the board of stewards of Purvis Methodist church, and trustee of church property. He was a Mason and a Shriner and had been active in these organizations." His survivors included his wife, the former Bessie Jackson, and three children, all three of whom are now deceased.^[2]
