In the 1910 census Myrtle (age 12) was the daughter of Henry Banford in Kalispell, Flathead, Montana, United States.^[2] Her family contained the following people:

Myrtle (age 19), daughter of Henry Bassford & Emma Heyman, married (1) Arthur George Robinson (age 37), of Libby, Montana, on 6 November 1916 in Kalispell, Flathead, Montana, United States.^[3] Their son was Don (Robinson) Ridgley (1919-2008).

In the 1920 census Myrtle (age 22) was the wife of Arthur G Robinson in Kalispell, Flathead, Montana, United States.^[4]

Sometime around 1922 Myrtle divorced Arthur and moved to Portland, Oregon, where she worked as a waitress in a diner. It was there where she met Orie (aka Otice Orie) Ridgley, a cook, and began dating him.

Myrtle, her son Donald, and Orie moved to Marshfield, Oregon, some time after their marriage, where they opened a restaurant. While living there they had the following children:

In the 1930 census Myrtle (age 32) was the wife of Orie O Ridgley in Spokane, Spokane, Washington, United States.^[6]

Sometime prior to 1940 the family relocated to Washington.

In the 1940 census Myrtle (age 42) was the wife of Orie Ridgley in Muckleshoot Election Precinct, King, Washington, United States.^[7]

Orie died in 1948.

Myrtle (51) married (3) John Carl Hildenbrandt (54) (born on 7 Sep 1895 in Scotch Grove, Jones, Iowa; son of Philip Hildenbrandt Sr and Anna (Bohlken) Hildenbrandt) in 1950.

They lived in Pennsylvania, Boulder, Colorado, Loma Linda, California, and Skagit, Washington, where John died in 1971. Myrtle then moved to Ukiah, California, to be near her son Kenneth.

Myrtle died on 10 Apr 1965 in Ukiah, Mendocino, California, United States, aged 67.^[8][9]

Research Notes

Family history says that Myrtle was, at some point in her life, a Forest Ranger, manning a fire lookout in the Pacific Northwest (either Washington or Oregon) but no factual evidence has been discovered yet.
