Biography

Elsje was baptized on August 17, 1652 in the Reformed Dutch Church of New Amsterdam, recorded as the child of Thomas Baxster.[1][2]

She is probably the Alice Baxter who married John Hunt in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on June 16, 1670, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey Colony[3]

Alice died in 1673, possibly from complications in delivering her daughter Sarah.
