Biography

Joan was the daughter of William Beauchamp and Joan FitzAlan/de Arundel.[1][2]

Joan married James Butler no later than 28 August 1413. [1][2] They had the following children:

Joan died on 3 or 5 August 1430 and was buried in the chapel of St Thomas of Acre (St Thomas Acon.), Cheapside, London.[1][2]

It wasn't called Richmond Palace until about 1501. Before that it was known as Sheen Palace, in the town of Sheen (or Shene).
