John was buried in the Mountain View Cemetery at New Concord, Columbia County, New York, USA. John Beebe was the father of John Beebe (1727–1786); Daniel Beebe (1731–1800); Ruth (Beebe) Waterman (1736–1830); Martin Beebe (1738–1783); Chloe (Beebe) Cady (1747–1841); and Tryphena (Beebe) Cady (1749–1839).
) Monograph, etc; page 23:John Beebe (39), son of Benamin Beebe (11) and Hannah Wheeler was baptized at New London 1 Dec 1701. He settled in Colchester as a young man, later purchasing a in the New Town of Kent where he lived and prospered until he sold his land for 1700 pound sterling on May 28 1754. He then moved to Oblong or Amenia Dutchess County, NY, then New Chatham, and finally Canaan, Columbia, NY where he died on 15 July 1788. He married Ruth Pratt in 1726 or 27 in Colchester and they were the parents of John (96), Hezekiah (97), Daniel (98), Martin (99), Ruth (100), Ann (101), Sarah (102), Trial (103), Chloe (104), and Tryphena (105).
