Biography

Barbara Bieghley, daughter of Michael Buechly and Barbara Zug, was born on 27 Oct 1773.[1]

By 1806, when her father wrote his will, she had married Christian Myers. (Her sister, Mary, had married Christian's brother, Michael.) [2][3]

The children of Christian and Mary are variously identified as :

  1. John [3][4] d. bef. 1833 [5]
  2. Christian d. bef. 1833 [5]
  3. Elizabeth m. Peter Brenizer [5]
  4. Michael [3][6]
  5. Henry [3][7][5][6]
  6. Christina m. Edward Clifford [5][6][8]
  7. Abraham [3]
  8. Joseph [3]
  9. Jacob [3]
  10. Peter [3]

Research Notes

An unsourced Findagrave record gives that Barbara died in 1842 and is buried in the Old Ligonier Cemetery, but the "plot details" notes "my mistake, wrong Barbara".[9] It's unclear whether this refers simply to this plot or to the cemetery (and thus the burial record) generally.

Barbara can't be a child of Barro as she was born 3 years after her death. She needs to be attached as a child of Barbara Zug, Michael's second wife, by someone with the appropriate clearance.

Since Barbara is a child of Michael, and Michael's profile is project protected, this is a change that needs to be requested on his profile. None of the profiles for Michael or either of the women he is reported to have married is well-sourced at the moment.
