Biography

Birth (1921)

Sita BINSTEAD was born in 1921. She was the daughter of daughter of company director Joseph Robert BINSTEAD and his wife Emma Mabel BELLAMY.^[1]

Marriage (1944)

On 2 Dec 1944, Sita married bank officer Ellis Manning Carter at St. Matthew's in Manly, New South Wales.^[2] Ellis (25), son of a retired shipping manager, lived in Balgowlah. Sita (23), worked as a clerk and lived in Manly.

Together, the couple had at least one son.

In 1977, the family lived at 8 Jellicoe St, Balgowlah with Ellis listed as a bank officer and their son as a student.^[3]

Death (2008)

Sita died on 5 Sep 2008 at Bowral, New South Wales, Australia. Her husband Ellis had pre-deceased her by only about five weeks.^[4]
