William born on January 14,1798 in Virginia and possibly the son of Gen. William Birdsong, who lived in Southampton Co, Virginia. He passed away on September 11,1863 and buried in the Old Salem Cemetery in Moniteau County, Missouri. [1]
William Birdsong born in Virginia 1796. He died with smallpox and his children had to dig his grave. His children also had to buried him. William married Winnaford Allee in Barren County, Kentucky in 1816.
