OBITUARY

MRS. CAROLINE GILL

After many years of suffering from diabetes, Mrs Caroline Gill, wife of Mr David Manning Gill, of Kolodong, passed away in M.R.D. Hospital, about 4 a.m. on Wednesday, at the age of 62 years, after being a patient in the institution for two days.

For several years Mrs Gill had been almost blind. The late Mrs Gill, who was highly respected by all who knew her, was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Bishop, of Cedar Party. She was born at Mondrook and was married 38 years ago. With the exception of nine months during which she resided at Kundle Kundle, she had lived all her married life at Kolodong. Her principal interests were her family circle and her home. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son—Mr George Andrew Gill. Another son, John, died several years ago. There are also two grandchildren. Brothers and sisters of the late Mrs Gill are: Thomas and Bert Bishop (Cedar Party), Fred (Kolodong), Arthur (Rawdon Island), Oliver (Sydney), Mrs J. Nelson (Brushy Cutting), and Mrs J. Whatson (Ghinni). Another sister (Mrs C. Schilling) died several years ago at Marlee. The funeral left Mr W. T. Howard's funeral parlors at noon on Thursday; for Dawson cemetery. Rev W. T. Cross conducted the service.
