Benjamin was born in 1914. He was the son of Edward Bishop and Marietta Plummer.[1] He passed away in 1993. [2][3]

Benjamin A. "Pete" Bishop, 78, of Williams Lake, died Friday, Feb. 5th, 1993. He was born July 3rd, 1914, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, the second of five children of Edward and Etta Bishop. He was raised and attended school in Bonners Ferry. He married Louise Reed in 1939 in Bonner Ferry. Following his service in the U.S. Navy, during World War II, he began a long career in automobile sales and service with Ford Motor Co. He worked in the area for many years, and in Williams Lake, where he had lived for the past 23 years. Mr. Bishop enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Louise, of William Lake; one son, Michael Bishop of Essaquah; two daughters, Shannon Bishop of Sedro-Woolley and Heather Sears of Reno, Nev.; one brother, Gordon Bishop of Sedro-Woolley; three sisters, Beryl Truscott of Spokane, Connie Parker of Anchorage and Lenore Huddleston of Bell Gardens, Calif.; six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cherie McNiel, in 1988.
