Of Interest on tho "West Coast was the wedding on January 9 of Jean, only daughtor of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Rob ertson, of Hunter street, Queenstown, to Douglas Winton, second son/ sf Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Blacklow, of Zeehan. Tho bride, wearing a smart navy redingote with floral trimmings and ac cessories to tone, and carrying a bou quet of deep pink roses" and carnations, entered the church on tho arm of hor father. During the signing of tho register, Mrs. R. W. Hodgetts, aunt of tho bride, sang "Until." Miss Bertha Stebbins, of Zeehan, who was attractively attired in. a floral frock of blue tonings with white accessories to match, was the bride's only attendant. Mr. Jim Blacklow, brothor of the bridogroom, was best man, and Mr. Ron. Hodgetts usher. After tho ceremony the brido 's par onts entertained immediate relatives and friends at their homo, the dining room being decorated in shades of pink and white flowers, sent by Mrs. Kear noy, Zoehan. A feature of the bridal table was tho two-tier cake, tho gift of relatives. Tho usual toasts wore honorod, and numerous congratulatory telegrams read. Tho happy eouple left amid showers of confetti for their honeymoon. _ The brido 's travelling ensemble con sisted of a black odgo-to-edge coat over an angclskin frock of eau de nil and black accessories. Tho presents were numerous and included several cheques.
