Early Life
She was born on June 30, 1755 and baptized the same day in Yamachiche, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her name at birth was Francoise Blaye. She was the daughter of Antoine Blaye and Agathe Alary. Godparents were Jean Baptiste Arcan and Francoise Blaye. The officiating priest was Chedeville. [1] [2]

Louis Antoine Toupin dit Dusseaur, son of Jean Baptiste Toupin and Catherine Veraneau, and Francoise Blais, daughter of Antoine Blais and Agathe Alary, were married 21 Nov 1774 in the parish of Sainte-Anne-d'Yamachiche, Yamachiche, Province de Québec. [3]
Jean Baptiste Lemai, son of Joseph Lemai and the late Catherine Gauthier, and Marie Francoise Blais, widow of the late Louis Dusseau, were married 20 Feb 1792 in the parish of Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup, Louiseville, Bas-Canada. [4]
