William M Blakeney was born in 1810.[1] He was the son of Revolutionary War veteran John Blakeney and his second wife Nancy May of Chesterfield County, North Carolina.
There are few records found regarding William Blakeney. The 1850 Census recorded a 14 yr old male named Julius Caeser Blakeney in the same household with William M Blakeney of Chesterfield, South Carolina.[2] The Findagrave memorial page for Dr Julius Caesar Blackeney 1836-1885 says that he was the son of William M. Blakeney and Eliza Evans. So, this hints of a probable marriage between Eliza Evans and William Blakeney, likely circa 1835.
