Biography

This profile is part of the Blanchard Name Study.

François Xavier was born about 1747. He was the son of Joseph Blanchard and Marguerite Genevieve Pitre. [1]

In 1758 he was deported from Ile Saint-Jean to France with his family. [2] François-Xavier disembarked in Saint-Malo on 23 January 1759 with his parents, the only surviving child of this family. His younger siblings died at sea during the crossing. His father died three weeks later.

He was recorded on censuses in France in 1762 at Saint-Suliac, age 15, and in 1772 at Saint-Malo, age 25. [1]

He passed away after the 1772 census.
