Biography

Agnes was the oldest daughter of John Blennerhassett and Jane Denny.^[1]

She married Thomas Denny on 9th November 1740.^[2] The "Denny Bible" lists the following children:^[2]

1. Thomas Coningsby, born 11th September 1741, died age six weeks
2. Anthony Arthur, born 16th September 1742
3. Letitia, born 6th October 1743
4. William, born 2rd January 1744/5
5. Thomas, born 25th June 1746
6. Jane, born 28th August 1748
7. Mary, born 20th July 1749
8. Robert Maynard, born 2nd January 1750/1 in Dublin, died 4th March 1752 "new stile"
9. Edward, born 8th May 1753.

Her will of 13th May 1774 was proved on 19th October 1779.^[3] In it she names husband Thomas, sister Letitia wife of Rowland Bateman, daughter Jane wife of Barry Denny, and daughter Letitia.
