Mary was baptised on 3 Jun 1676 at the parish church of All Saints in Rempstone, indicating her birth occurred sometime in the month or so prior. ^[1] She was the daughter of William Blood and Anne Swaineson. She was a re-use of the name Mary, her older sister of the same name having been buried in 1674.
