Biography

Isaac Bluitt is a part of US Black heritage.

Isaac was born about 1854 in Texas. He was the son of Limos/Linus Bluitt and Zilphy Bolt, both originally from South Carolina.

He married Lucinda Smith around 1881. They raised a family in Freestone County and later Limestone County, Texas. He passed away in 1936 at the age of 81 in Mexia, Limestone County. He was buried in the Grove Island AME Church Cemetery in Teague, Texas.
