Biography

Minnie (Bluitt) Livingston is a part of US Black heritage.

Minnie was born in 1887 in Texas. She was the daughter of Isaac Bluitt and Lucinda Smith. In 1900 she was living with her parents and siblings in Freestone County, Texas.^[1]

In 1910 she was living with husband Isaac Waters and 3 children in Waxahachie, Ellis County, Texas.^[2] In 1930 she as listed as widowed and head of a household with 3 children in Mexia, Limestone County, Texas.^[3]

In 1940 she was listed as Minnie Livingston, again a widow, and living with a son and three grandchildren in Mexia.^[4]

She passed away in 1968 in Dallas, Texas.^[5] She was buried in Cotton Gin Cemetery in Cotton Gin, Freestone County, Texas.^[6] She was survived by four sons and her sister Olevia Thomas.^[7]
