Biography

James Boam was born on 26 November 1742 in Bakewell, Derbyshire, England, son of James Boam (1713–1791) and Anne Herdsfield (1717–1795).

James (21) married Joannah Allen (24) (born in 1739 in Winster, Derbyshire) on 14 May 1764 in Derbyshire. Their known son was William Boam (3 October 1760 – 13 December 1822).

James died on 1 December 1799 in Winster, Derbyshire, aged 57.
