Biography
When Gabriel Boissy was born on March 17, 1768, in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada, his father, Nicolas, was 36 and his mother, Marie, was 34. He married Marie Marguerite Gaudin on January 7, 1788, in Beloeil, Quebec, Canada. They had five children in 16 years. He died on August 24, 1822, in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 54.
