Mary "Polly" Bolen (LHFG-5HC) was born September 23, 1823. She married Joseph Austin, November 13, 1845. They resided in Logan County, Ohio, in 1850. On July 11, 1860 (1860 Census) they resided in Meigs Township, Adams County, Ohio. From the 1850 and 1860 Census their children were:
a) Louisa J. Austin born 1846/7.
b) John W. Austin born 1847/8.
c) Silas Austin born 1850.
d) Margaret Austin born 1852.
e) Mary E. Austin born 1854.
f) Sarah E. Austin born 1856.
g) James H. Austin born 1858.
h) Sylvester Austin born 1860.
On December 8, 1865, Mary Austin, received a distribution ($34.25) which was 1/9 th of her father Henry Bolen’s estate, in Logan County, Ohio. (57)
