Biography

James Boone was said to have been born in what became Harrison County, Kentucky on the death certificate of son, Joseph Thomas Boone. James was the son of Joab Boone and Eleanor Ellis. He married to Elizabeth Watson Porter, also born in Harrison County, on the 2nd of April, 1829 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. His older children were born in Harrison County with the younger born at Kenton Station.
