Hi Honi, thanks for connecting up Col Wm Lyne to his father. I’m questioning my work on that profile actually (which is why I hadn’t connected it yet). So many William Lynes to keep track of! I am a direct descendant and I’m still looking through information to ensure accuracy. Do you have any other reliable sources for this family that can support the info?

Have you any thoughts about Hardin-635 as possible father or uncle for Sarah Hardin who married Jediah Ashcraft?

Thanks Honi, I think that really goes a long way to confirming my hunch that Rachel Acre is the mother of both children that were in the household. Now the mystery is still Simon Dennis - my relation - who was born in Iowa. So it looks like Rachel had one more previous partner before Jeptha Lucas.

Thank you so much for the Caarringtigton Mayo information. Do you have any info regarding the Carrington, Mayo, Cabell disputes etc. Was this over the period f time when Wlliam Cabell returned to England to settle his fathers estate (lasting 5 years) and giving the carringtons and Mayos the ability to manage his estates in Va.
