Soloman Booth was the son of Daniel Booth and Priscilla Ruth Tapley. Daniel named a son Soloman in his will dated 1801.[1]
One Sollowman Booth left a will dated 18 December 1810. He left all of his livestock to his mother, Priscilla Booth, to be divided among his brothers except Alfred at her decease. He left his brother Alfred Booth 203 1/2 acres of land, with Alfred instructed to pay all his bills. His saddle, bridle and gun were to be sold and the money to be divided among his brothers except Alfred. He left his chest to his sister Patsey. He nominated and appointed his brother Tapley Booth his executor. Although the clerk spelled his name "Sallowman" it appears he signed his name "Soloman" in the signature on the will, though it is blurred on the end. One Betsey Booth witnessed the will with her + mark. It appears he was unmarried, as no wife is mentioned. Tapley Booth qualified as Executor. He probably died soon after making the will, as he stated he was weak of body.[2] He probably died soon after making the will, as he stated he was weak of body.
The clerk writing the will was a very poor speller; therefore I think the mis-spelling of Solomon's name can be disregarded.[3]
