Laetitia accompanied her parents in their move from Saint-Donat to Sudbury, arriving in 1884, where they were the first French-Canadian pioneer family.
She married Elzéar Paquette of Pointe-aux-Pères, Rimouski, in 1898. They had nine children. She died in 1943. In 1944, according to the account written by her cousin, all her children were living, and Monsieur Paquette was still living in Garson with three of his children, Aimé, Emma and Elzéar. The others were: Mme Sullivan in Berlin, New Hampshire, Mme Harney in Long Island, NY, René in Mactier ON, Joseph in Sudbury, and Lucien in Montreal, Mme Aubin in Sudbury.
