He died before 9 July 1776, the date that his son François died in Môle Saint-Nicholas. [1]

Research Notes

No parents given for him by Michael B. Melanson. Listed as Jean, not Joseph. According to Marcel Walter Landry, she married Joseph Bourg, the son of Claude Bourg (1716-bef.1760) and Marie Josephe Lord (1727-1788), who also had a son named Jean. Sources needed. His name in Joseph in Rosalie's 2nd marriage record and in his son François' burial record (died 1776).
